Sugarloaf Ski School Part Time Instructor
Overview:
What could be better than skiing Sugarloaf?! WORKING HERE!!! We are currently looking for enthusiastic and outgoing people to join our team as part time instructors for our seasonal ski and snowboard school.
Our program starts in early December and runs through to the end of March.
Most groups meet on weekends and holiday weeks, but some mid-week lesson shifts are available as well.
Experienced skiers or riders are preferred for this role, but we can provide on-the-job training for the right fit.
It is not necessary to be an excellent skier or rider, but a love of the sport and the desire to continually improve regardless of current ability are most important for this role along with a positive attitude and passion for great customer service.

Starting pay is based on experience.

You will get to work with a great team and a world class training staff including more than 8 PSIA/AASI Education Staff Members.

be comfortable setting up and maintaining an environment conducive to safety, fun, and learning.
have strong communication skills and be able to communicate effectively with guests, supervisors, and co-workers.
be reliable, dependable, and timely have a genuine desire to pass on knowledge of the sport and inspire others to enjoy it be able to work outside in extreme and quickly changing winter mountain conditions be able to work in a physically challenging environment be able to maintain a great guest service attitude while working with beginner students on green terrain as well as all other students throughout the season
